I think this video is good because he explains exactly why Twitter is so useful to gather people together even when the government tries to block all communication.

Hariri backs Qatar mission in Syria
Over in Syria the Arab spring seems to be continuing on. By now Twitter has been a powerful voice of the people in the middle east. Anonymous users are updating daily about what is happening in their country.
The article above is another example of people getting involved using Twitter. I think it's a brave thing to reveal your identity and voice dissidence, but I think that the support by the former Syrian president will have a positive affect on other protesters.
I have no idea what's going to happen in Syria but it's no longer possible to silence the people as long as they have their mobile phones and the internet.
